East Coast Main Line 1980s Rail Traffic

This collection of excellent photgraphs was made by Lindsay Walters a member of Disused Railways of Yorkshire Facebook group . The shots were taken shortly before the line was closed and this traffic diverted to the new route. They were taken from a number of vantage points near Barlby, Naburn, Riccall, Escrick and Challoners Whin – where the new diversion rejoined the line into York.
